Are you hiring?
We are currently fully staffed as a team of four for the 2024 growing season and do not have additional openings. We do have contract openings for chicken processing dates. Contact us to learn more.
Do you do consulting?
Noah accepts a small number of consulting clients on a rolling basis as he is able throughout the year. If you are interested in consulting, reach out with some details about your situation and he will be in touch with whether or not he has current availability.
Can I volunteer or visit?
We have a growing calendar of farm events, including volunteer days and workshops, which you can check out here. We are often available for scheduling visits outside of these events and especially love hosting other farmers and prospective farmers. Reach out if you’d like to connect!
How are your chickens raised?
After a few weeks in the brooder where they are safe and warm, our chickens live the rest of their farm life out on the pasture. They are protected from predators by electric fencing, and roam freely in their paddocks with an open structure for shade. They are not confined. Their paddock is moved daily or every other day, depending on their age. They are fed 100% organic feed in addition to what they forage for in the pastures.
Where do you get your chickens processed?
We process 100% of our chickens and turkeys here on the farm. We have a USDA-approved outdoor processing facility and are fully permitted to process our own birds. Processing on-farm allows us to ensure humane treatment of the animals and the highest quality product for you.
Can I place an order for pick up on the farm?
Of course. We regularly have folks pick up from the farm. We can work together to coordinate a time that works for your schedule, just reach out!
